Hailing from Colombia, Steve Dekay is a trance music prodigy whose rhythms and beats have reverberated across the globe. His esteemed reputation in the music industry is underscored by affiliations with major record labels, including Armada Music, Vandit Records, FSOE, Black Hole, Coldharbour, among others.

One of the defining moments in Steve's career has been his collaborations with trance legend Paul van Dyk. Together, they crafted the track 'Aurora,' featured on Paul's 'Music Rescues Me' album, and 'Impact' which made its way to the 'Guiding Light' album. Presently, Steve's melodious outputs are primarily released under Armada Music, Vandit Records, and FSOE Recordings.

The magnetism of Steve's music is evident in its universal appeal. Music icons such as Aly & Fila, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Solarstone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Marco V, and Ferry Corsten, to mention a few, have regularly played his tracks. This international acclaim has propelled some of his works to the summit of the Beatport charts on multiple occasions.

As a DJ, Steve's dynamism is evident. He has illuminated stages alongside legends like Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Cosmic Gate, Sander van Doorn, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Sean Tyas, Will Atkinson, and Solarstone. Memorable moments of his performance history include mesmerizing the crowds at Shine Ibiza alongside Paul van Dyk, energizing the iconic Street Parade in Zurich, and captivating audiences across various European venues and also playing for the Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance’ radio show.

Steve's consistent excellence hasn't gone unnoticed. His accolades include clinching the #48 spot on the Top 101 Producers 2020 list, a commendable #72 in 2021, and being honored with the Best Producer title at the CDA Awards in 2019. Steve Dekay, with his relentless passion and innate talent, continues to shape and redefine the trance music landscape.

In 2015 he was discovered by Critical Uprising and Critical Sounds where he released his debut original 'Underverse' where he became a releasing resident on the label and eventually becoming A&R Director of Critical Sounds in 2019.  

In 2018, a collaboration with the legend Paul van Dyk, track included on the Paul’s album 'Music Rescues Me', released under Vandit Records.In 2024, Steve appeared on ASOT 1169 where he played the Critical Sounds label 1 hour show case and gave the world a new progressive trance and melodic techno sound fused with a harder edge.
